  A three-part workshop series designed specifically for Calculus 1 students who want to refresh the Pre-Calculus skills they need to be successful in MATH 2210.
  • Thursdays: September 17, September 24 & October 1
  • 3:00 – 4:30 PM

  Weekly drop-in session for students in MATH 126, 126S, 131, and 135. Find support with a math professor and peer tutor. Bring homework, practice problems, or anything else you're working on.

• Got Story? Identity Celebration Showcase
  A fall semester showcase of creative expressions of identity.  All submissions will be published and/or displayed.
• Spring Short Poetry Showcase
  The Poetry Showcase is now on display.
• The GEO-Connection Speaker Series
  This grant funded speaker series brings in professionals from other organizations to talk about their work in the geosciences and bridge the gap between scientific fields. Check our calendar for dates and topics.
• Guided Group Study Sessions
  Tutor-facilitated group sessions where students ask questions, work together, and prepare for exams.
• Math Competitions and "Let’s Talk Math"
  Explore challenging problems and learn about math topics not traditionally taught in the classroom.
• STEMulating Conversations Series
  Casual and 'nerdy' conversations about current science topics with STEM faculty. Check our calendar for dates and topics. (Formerly First Fridays)
• Student Online Academic Readiness (SOAR) Workshops
  One hour, online workshop with tips on how to survive and thrive as an online student.
• Free TEAS Prep Workshops
  A series of workshops that focus on preparing nursing students to take the ATI TEAS Exam.

  Free spring conference for MiraCosta College students, with workshops to support your academic and professional growth.
